FW16 Runway Beauty Trends

Obviously, NYFW FW16 showed us the new wardrobe pieces we should be scoping out for this fall, but we are in the market for new makeup trends too, and designers like Tommy Hilfiger and Fendi are shining a light on this seasons new trend.

Fall typically brings us matte earthy tones but this season fall is bringing in the glitter. Giambattista Villa even had Gigi Hadid modeling the new glitter trend in blue on her eyebrows. But, if you’re not feeling as bold as a Hadid, artist like Fendi and Tommy Hilfiger paved the way into glitter eye shadows for us. You can shop of look in almost 30 colors at MAC Cosmetics, Here is the one of our favorite shades, MAC Glitter in Gold

Dark tone lips are always in for the fall, and are coming back around this year, of course. This year they are getting even darker though; to get a darker shade of your already favorite fall tone, try filling your lips with black before topping them with your color of choice. NYFW flaunted the bright lips on a blank canvas on the Rodante runway. Find her color at Burberry in Burberry Lip Velvet Oxblood.

Not to say the cat eye is out, but smudge eyeliner is definitely in this season. This look comes with a lot of freedom, worried your eyeliner is starting to smudge throughout the day? Now it’s no big deal, let it do its thing! This look is best achieved by rimming your water lines with your liner of choice and letting its sit or giving it a little smudging yourself before you go out if you’re going for a more dramatic look. Any liner should get the job done but one of our favorites is MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline.

But, if you’re not exactly the makeup type, you’re in luck. This fall glowing skin is what’s topping the charts for trends. Natural eyebrows and blushed cheeks are easy enough for anyone. You can create this look with as little makeup as you please. Personally, I like to use a little moisturizer, my eyebrow pencil, some mascara and blush and WAH-LA!

Natural arched eyebrows are in right now too, which eliminates a lot of your prep time trying to get them perfect, we complete the look with Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting.
